- I am late : je suis en retard

- I’m going upstairs/downstairs : je monte (escaliers)/ je descends (escaliers)
- Let’s meet at 5 : rendez-vous à 5h
- gauche/droite/tout droit: left/right/straight
- call me back : rappelle-moi
- I’m in a hurry : je suis pressée
- wait for me : attends-moi
- nursery school : école maternelle
- primary school : école primaire
- to go for a walk : se promener (à pieds)
- to go for a ride : se promener (en voiture)
- to go shopping : faire les courses (food) / faire du shopping
- to lock the door : fermer la porte à clé
- to open/close the shutters : fermer les volets
- to open/close the gates: ouvrir/fermer le portail
- to turn on/turn off the light : allumer/éteindre la lumière
